For those unaware, Sylvia Rivera (1951-- 2002) was a truly incredible American transgender activist and the inspiration
for the eponymous Sylvia Rivera Law Project. She worked to combat poverty as well as race- and gender-based
discrimination, all with grace, vim, and vigor. "Hell hath no fury like a drag queen scorned."
